Zeus

Zeus is a 5-year-old American Bully.

I adopted him a little over two years ago from the Tacoma Animal Shelter. He had been there so long that they dropped his fee, but I was willing to pay full price! As soon as I met him, I knew he was coming home.

He joined his dog siblings—two French Bulldogs and a German Shepherd. A few months after his adoption, I unexpectedly lost my husband. Still, I was dedicated to giving Zeus the best life ever.

At the beginning of this year, he developed enlarged lymph nodes, but all tests came back negative. Unfortunately, when it happened again a few months later, he was diagnosed with lymphoma. Other than some weight gain, he has taken treatment really well, and I still plan on making sure he has the best life ever.

We are currently working on a self-published book called Zeus the Wonder Dog, with plans to donate the proceeds to canine cancer research.
