Remi

At just four and a half years old, this spirited German Shorthaired Pointer has already lived a life full of joy, curiosity, and resilience. She is endlessly devoted to her family—especially her two-year-old human sister—and finds happiness in the simplest things: chasing her many balls, tearing into toys with squeakers, and staying close to her mom and dad. Remi’s personality is unmistakable—playful, determined, and full of life in a way that fills every room she enters.

Remi has also shown remarkable strength. In August 2025, she faced a mast cell tumor and underwent surgery that left her with 15 staples in her back leg. Even then, she refused to be slowed down. Fresh out of surgery, she continued to show her resilient spirit—eager to move, to play, and to be herself.

Now, as she faces a lymphoma diagnosis, that same strength continues to define her. Remi is not her diagnosis. She is still the same vibrant, loving, and determined soul her family has always known. Every day, she shows that she is still very much present—still fighting, still loving, still living fully.

Her family has made the decision to pursue treatment to give Remi the best possible chance at more time—time filled with comfort, play, and the moments that matter most. They are committed to showing up for her in every way, just as she has always shown up for them.

With support from Toby’s Hope, Remi is able to receive the care she needs during this incredibly difficult time. Beyond the financial relief, this support has brought something just as meaningful—a sense of community, understanding, and hope. Knowing they are not alone in this journey has made an immeasurable difference.

Remi is more than a pet—she is the heart of her family. She is a protector, a playmate, and the sweetest big sister. She has brought immeasurable joy into their lives, and now, they are doing everything they can to give that love back to her.

Through every step of this journey, Remi continues to show what it means to be strong, joyful, and deeply loved. And her family remains by her side—grateful for every moment, every small victory, and every day they get to spend together. 💗
