Pupup

Pupup is a 13 year old deaf male who I've had since he was 6 months old. The roommates who I adopted him from did not provide the needed care or support he needed. Since that time so many years ago he has always been right by my side, through life changes, wins and losses, and the good and the bad.

He is a very unique and charismatic dog that has yet to meet a person who doesn't fall in love with him immediately.

The term "owner" has never felt quite right because he has and always be a friend and family member to me.

Pupup is a very tough and resilient dog but with a very sensitive and loving heart. The months before his diagnosis were painful with his discomfort being so clear. By the time we got a clear diagnosis of his lymphoma, I had nearly exhausted most of the small savings I had and was weighing what I could learn to live without and what expenses could be cut back.

Thanks to Toby's Hope, I have been able give a beloved and loyal friend the care he deserves. The change after proper treatment has been nothing short of amazing. I did not think I was going to be able to spend Christmas with him let alone get to the next year. Now he is back to his old self. Happy, hungry and full of life.

I know we all need to say goodbye someday but being given more time, especially time that he is not in pain, is something I am incredibly grateful for.
