Pompey, a 5-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, is a sweet and adventurous dog who became part of her family’s life. In early February 2025, she was diagnosed with lymphoma after her lymph nodes swelled rapidly. Despite initial struggles with her appetite and worsening symptoms, Pompey began chemotherapy in March after a cancellation opened an earlier appointment. After a month of treatment, she has shown significant improvement, with no swollen lymph nodes and a return to eating and playing. The family, facing high medical costs, received financial support from Toby’s Hope, which has been a crucial lifeline in Pompey’s fight.
