Blaze

Blaze came into Suzanne’s life as the perfect addition to her family—a chubby, wrinkly pup who instantly bonded with their 4-year-old Frenchton and became a local favorite, even winning the town’s Frenchie race. But in March 2024, everything changed. Blaze was diagnosed with lymphoma, and the emotional and financial toll felt overwhelming. Suzanne launched a GoFundMe and explored every possible way to afford treatment, but the road ahead seemed impossible—until someone told her about Toby’s Hope. While driving three hours to Blaze’s third treatment, Suzanne got the call that Toby’s Hope would help cover the costs. Tears of joy replaced the fear and sadness that had consumed her, and Blaze—sweet, loyal, smart, and full of love—was given a fighting chance. Blaze was a strong little trooper. Thanks to the support from Toby’s Hope, she experienced remission and more time on her journey surrounded by love, care, and her best friend by her side. Blaze passed away on November 12, 2025.
