Book Recommendations for Caregivers

Being a caregiver for a dog with cancer is hard. You carry a lot of weight on your shoulders, balancing many responsibilities and often wearing multiple hats. It is easy to get overwhelmed and stressed.

A friend of Toby’s Hope and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Elizabeth Snell, recommends the following books that are specific to caregivers:

  1. Daily Comfort for Caregivers – https://www.amazon.com/Daily-Comforts-Caregivers-Pat-Samples/dp/1577490886
  2. God will Carry you through – https://www.amazon.com/God-will-carry-you-through/dp/0718079604
  3. Conscious Caregiver – https://www.amazon.com/Conscious-Caregiver-Mindful-Approach-Yourself/dp/1440597731

We would love to hear from you. What has helped you on this journey as a caregiver? Email us at info@tobyshope.org
