2025 end-of-year report: a year of care, community, and impact

2025 marked a meaningful milestone for Toby’s Hope for Canine Cancer Care — our first full year supporting families navigating canine cancer.

Over the past year, we focused on building a strong foundation while delivering direct financial relief, emotional support, and community connection for families facing some of the hardest moments of their lives. This end-of-year report captures not just what we did, but why it mattered.

Rather than summarize everything here, we want to share a few highlights — and invite you to explore the full report for the complete story.

2025 at a glance

In our first year of operation, Toby’s Hope:

  • Provided direct financial assistance to families actively navigating canine cancer

  • Supported dozens of dogs across Washington and beyond

  • Paid veterinary bills directly to specialty and referral hospitals

  • Hosted community events and weekly support groups to reduce isolation and build connection

A note from the Toby’s Hope team

When we started Toby’s Hope, our goal was simple: to show up for families when they felt overwhelmed, isolated, or unsure how they would afford care for their dogs.

What we learned in 2025 is that support goes far beyond funding alone. Families needed community. They needed understanding. They needed reassurance that they weren’t navigating this journey by themselves.

This report reflects our gratitude — to the families who trusted us, the volunteers who built this organization alongside us, and the donors and partners who made this work possible. We’re proud of what we built in our first year, and even more committed to what comes next.

Looking ahead

As we move into 2026, we remain focused on strengthening our foundation, growing sustainable funding, and expanding access to care and caregiver resources across Washington state.

Thank you for being part of our journey — and for helping us build a future where families facing canine cancer don’t have to face it alone.
